Hold'em Career is a single-player poker game. No real money is ever involved: the bankroll is game currency that cannot be bought, only won or lost at the tables.
Questions, bug reports, or a hand that played out wrong: support@actualclown.com — include your device model and iOS version. If it's about a specific hand, the hand number and seed shown between hands pins it down exactly; every hand in the game can be replayed from that pair.
I went broke. Where did my career go?
That's the game. A busted bankroll ends the run — but milestones you earned are permanent and
raise the starting bankroll of every future run. Check the run summary for what carried over.
Can I buy chips?
No, and there is no plan to add it. The bankroll being unbuyable is the point of the game.
Why can't I move up to the next table?
Two gates: your bankroll must cover roughly 20 buy-ins of the next level, and you can't climb
while you owe a loan. Square the debt first.
Why can't I rebuy when I lose my stack mid-session?
A stint is one buy-in by design. Losing it ends the sitting, not the career. Bring the next
buy-in to a fresh table — or to a smaller one.
Does the app collect any data?
Nothing. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no network use at all. Your career lives on
your device. See the privacy policy.
Are the opponents fair? Do they see my cards?
No opponent ever sees your cards or the deck. Every decision they make is computed only from
what they could legitimately see at a real table. Replay any hand with "What happened?" to see
their actual reasoning.
The cards/text are too small.
The app follows your system text size (Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size),
and the in-app Settings screen has speed, sound, and haptics controls.
